Design Studio 4

Envision the Creative Residency as a live-work space that directly reflects the occupant's needs, embodies the connection between architecture, precedents, and design, and creates an environment that engages with culture, society, economy, and ecology. The Creative Residency will allow selected Residents with a specific common vocation to live and work outside their daily environments and responsibilities, providing them with the time and space to research, reflect, and create. Throughout the Creative Residency, the Residents will explore new locations and cultures and experiment in unexpected ways that will impact their creative work long-term. Studio IV explored the concept of a Creative Residency by giving Residents a temporary live and workspace with dedicated resources for more focused advancement of their work.
