The Introduction to Architecture course orientated and exposed me to the wide, yet specific expressions and definitions of architecture. I explored various themes of architectural composition, typology and concepts and practiced my representation through studies in drawing conventions and techniques. These themes were systematically introduced with lectures and recitations -building an increasingly rich architectural awareness, language and honing of skills. These learning opportunities set the foundation for me to proceed with my architectural education having a solid base of knowledge and the tools for translating ideas into creative design solutions.
